Previous Events In January 2010, construction was in progress. ASC announced that Ingenieria Franco Espanola Omega (IFEO) was awarded the turnkey contract for the engineering, design and construction of the plant. 
 
In December 2009, the company received formal permission from the government to build the plant and was officially registered.
Scope of Work Construction of a 585,000 t/y sugar refinery to produce "Icumsa 45" sugar with all related facilities.
