| Background |
Laffan Refinery Company plans to construct a hydtrotreater complex in the Laffan refinery, Ras Laffan, Doha.
The aim of the project is to reduce the sulphur found in the diesel produced from the Laffan refinery, commissioned in September 2009, by less than 10 ppm sulphur content. The recovered sulphur will be transferred to the Ras Laffan sulphur treatment facility operated by Enersul.
The project is part of Qatargas's plan to increase the Laffan refinery's capacity.
Tecnicas Reunidas is the FEED study consultant. |
