The General Presidency of Youth Welfare in Jeddah plans to develop King Abdullah stadium, located in the north of Jeddah.
The project will include a 60,000 spectator football stadium and related facilities.
The project was initially planned to have a capacity of 100,000 seats and to be integrated within the master plan of the new Down town Jeddah, but was downsized to 60,000 seats stadium only.
