Abu Dhabi Oil Refining CompanyAbu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (TakreerTakreer ) plans to construct a Carbon Black plant at its Ruwais Refining complex in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The project also includes the construction of a coker unit and hydrogen processing facilities. BechtelBechtel is the FEED study consultant. WorleyParsonsWorleyParsons is the PMC. Honeywell International is the PDH technology provider. Eurtecnica Contractors and Engineers is the carbon black technology provider and basic engineering design consultant. |

On 5 February 2012, commercial bids for the EPC contract were submitted (delayed from 5 January 2012). In November 2011, the carbon black technology licensing and basic engineering design contracts were awarded to Eurotecnica Contractors and Engineers. 6 November 2011 was the technical bids submission deadline for the EPC contract (extended from 6 September 2011). In October 2011, the tendering and bidding process for the EPC contract was slowed down over technology licenses contract issues. On 11 July 2011, the ITB for the EPC contract was issued. In the end of June 2011, the FEED study was completed. In June 2011, the engineering, design and technology licensing contract for the Propane Dehydrogenation unit was awarded to Honeywell International. In the beginning of May 2011, companies were pre-qualified for the EPC contract. On 20 February 2011, companies submitted their EOIs for the EPC contract. On 13 December 2010, the FEED study contract was awarded to BechtelBechtel . On 23 November 2010, the commercial bids for the FEED study contract were submitted. On 19 September 2010, the technical bids for the FEED study contract were submitted (delayed from 2 September 2010). On 2 September 2010, the PMC contract was awarded to WorleyParsonsWorleyParsons . In August 2010, bids for the PMC contract were submitted. |
