| Background |
Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (Gasco)Abu Dhabi Gas Industries (Gasco) plans to build a fourth NGL train at Ruwais, Abu Dhabi. The package is part of of Abu Dhabi's Integrated Gas Development program which aims at increasing the offshore gas production by 1 billion cu.ft/d (high pressure gas). KBRKBR Leatherhead is the PMC overseeing the FEED study on the whole onshore part of the IGD program. FluorFluor Corporation is the pre-FEED study and FEED study consultant. WorleyParsonsWorleyParsons is the PMC overseeing the EPC contract. |

In March 2010, PetrofacPetrofac and GS Engineering and Construction awarded Target Engineering Construction CompanyTarget Engineering Construction Company a USD 130 million contract to execute the sea water intake system and pipeline for the project. On 29 October 2009, Gasco and the JV of PetrofacPetrofac and GS Engineering and Construction CompanyGS Engineering and Construction Company signed the official EPC contract. On 15 July 2009, the EPC contract was awarded to the JV of PetrofacPetrofac and GS Engineering and Construction CompanyGS Engineering and Construction Company . On 7 July 2009, commercial bids for the EPC contract were submitted. On 22 June 2009, the PMC for the EPC contract was awarded to WorleyParsonsWorleyParsons . 30 April 2009 was the technical bids submission deadline for the EPC contract (extended from 1 March 2009). 28 January 2009 was the commercial bids submission deadline for the PMC contract. In November 2008, technical bids for the PMC contract were submitted. In July 2008, the FEED study was completed and the ITB for the EPC contract was issued. On 3 May 2007, KBRKBR Leatherhead was awarded the PMC contract overseeing the FEED study contract. In December 2006, the ITB PMC contract overseeing FEED study contract was issued. In July 2006, the FEED study contract was awarded to FluorFluor . |
