The Medical City project covers the construction of 8 new buildings in addition to the King Fahd Center for Heart Diseases and Surgery, the National Center for Diabetes and the Center for Family Medicine. The project also covers the expansion of the Colleges of Medicine and Dentistry.
In March 2012, the construction of the project was still ongoing.
In H2 2012, the project is expected to be completed.
