The Ministry of Transport and CommunicationThe Ministry of Transport and Communication plans to construct Al Duqm Airport in Al Wusta, Oman.
Al Duqm Airport will be executed in 3 packages. Package 1 includes the construction of roadways and utilities. Package 2 includes the construction of the runways and airfield infrastructure and package 3 involves the construction of the terminal buildings and other buildings on the site.
Aeroports de Paris Ingenierie (ADPi) is the PMC.

On 3 March 2009, the ITB for the supervision and management consultancy contract was issued.
In November 2008, the construction of package 1 started.

In March 2008, the design for package 1 was completed.

- 13,350 sq. m. parking facility for handling 300 cars
- A 4 km long runway
- A 500,000 passengers per year terminal
- A 50,000 tonnes per year cargo terminal
- A catering facility
- A 27 km of access and land side roads
- 2 taxiways
- Parking apron for passenger aircraft
- Facilities for 2 passenger boarding bridges |
