Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development plans to develop Sidra Medical and Research Center in the Education City located in Sidra, west of Doha. It will spread over and area of 10 million sq.m. and will be a nine-storey hospital that comprises 412 beds and an accommodations for 350 nurses. Sidra Hospital will be the first facility to be constructed in this complex. Qatar Foundation has future plans to expand the hospital's capacity to 550 beds and double the sizes of the Outpatient Clinic and research facilities. Kuwait's KEO International ConsultantsKEO International Consultants is the PMC, Pelli Clarke Pelli and Associates is the architect, and Ellerbe Becket is the design. |
