Bahrain is to play host to a road show aiming to teach businesses how to improve their decision making by using business intelligence and performance management, it has been announced. Business performance-management firm Hyperion is to embark on a three-date tour of GCC countries next week, stopping in Bahrain on Monday.
During the road show, Hyperion executives, customers and partners will educate information technology, finance and business decision makers about Hyperion System 9, the product the company claims is the first business performance management system to integrate financial management applications with a business intelligence engine into a modular system that adapts to business needs, thereby creating performance visibility.
Alistair Menzies Anderson, Hyperion regional director for the Middle East, said: "A growing number of organisations have recognised that reports generated with business intelligence tools must be tightly coupled with their strategic and operational planning processes for complete end-to-end performance visibility. The road show will target senior IT, finance and business decision-makers from enterprises.
"It will highlight the importance of business intelligence and business-performance management in the success of organisations." Ivo Bauermann, Hyperion director of product marketing, expanded Middle East and Africa, will also be at the road show to give an overview of how business performance management give business intelligence a purpose.
"He will challenge the audience with the 'Business Performance Management Revolution,' which encourages organisations to strategically think about business performance management in order to sustain growth," Anderson added. The road show will be held on Sunday in Dubai, Monday in Bahrain and Tuesday in Kuwait with details of venues to follow.
