DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--Dubai's ruler unexpectedly replaced Omar bin Sulaiman as the head of it's financial center Friday in the latest high-profile government shuffle.
A royal decree said Ahmed Humaid Al-Tayer will take over as governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre, without giving a reason for the change.
Bin Sulaiman didn't answer calls to his mobile Friday, the start of the weekend in the Middle East.
