Amman, 12 February 2011 - Umniah, Emitac Mobile Solutions (EMS) and Research In Motion (RIM) (NASDAQ: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced the launch of the BlackBerry® solution in Jordan. The solution will be available to Umniah's prepaid and postpaid subscribers at highly competitive rates, with a variety of service plans that cater to consumers and business users alike.
The BlackBerry solution brings together smartphones, software and services to allow easy wireless access to email, phone, calendar, web, multimedia and other business and lifestyle applications. Umniah customers in Jordan will now be able to enjoy the freedom and productivity benefits of using BlackBerry® smartphones to stay connected to people and information while on the go.
To celebrate the launch of the BlackBerry solution, Umniah is offering its subscribers a promotion starting from February 2011 where subscribers can enjoy four months of free service subscription, followed by another four months of a 50 percent discount, then an additional four months of a JD 20 service subscription fee.

Postpaid Umniah subscribers will be able to activate the BlackBerry Internet Service by dialing the service number *114# for a monthly fee of JD 20. Umniah's prepaid subscribers can also activate the service by dialing *114# for a monthly fee of JD 20 or a weekly fee. Both postpaid and prepaid subscribers will be able to receive unlimited national data bundles.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is a perfect tool for business professionals and power users. It offers exceptional performance, functionality and features with support for 3G HSDPA networks around the world, a powerful processor, 256MB Flash memory, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi®, a 3.2MP camera and a dazzling, high resolution display.
