TEHRAN - Iran Khodro Company (IKCO) started the manufacturing of gas-fueled Tondar 90 sedan, said the IKCO production manager here on Wednesday.
He added that Tondar 90 will be mass-produced under the French company Renault. The workers are trained for the new system, he said, adding the required equipment had been purchased two months ago. Tondar 90 sedan will enter the market in next Iranian year (to start March 21, 2008), he announced, adding the sedan will be exported to 26 countries. Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Azerbaijan, Qatar, Tajikistan, Bangladesh, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kuwait are the main target markets, he said
