The 7th edition of MYCONTENT & the 9th edition of Dubai International Brand Licensing Fair, part of the Big Entertainment Show, are slated to begin this Monday 14th of November, 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The  two events being held within the Big Entertainment Show will witness a remarkable participation from over 80 companies from 65 countries like the UAE, South Korea, China, Egypt, Bahrain, Argentina, Lebanon, Morocco, Singapore, India, France, Germany, Austria, United Kingdom, Sweden, Turkey, the United States and Japan. In addition to that, the event will host national pavilions from South Korea, China and Kingdom of Morocco.

Running parallel with the exhibition, MYCONTENT will feature this year a number of activities such as: Hosted Buyers Program, B2B Matchmaking services, the Entertainment Content Summit and a number of screening sessions and panel discussions that will support local talents to succeed in this field.

MYCONTENT is the only dedicated event in the region to meet content providers across all platforms, and it has become the leading entertainment content and media marketplace in the MENA region. The show also brings together representatives from TV stations and broadcasters, production companies, distributors, agents, licensees, investors and government officials all under one roof.

Participating in the show and commenting about the Arabic content production, Francesco Denti, VP Entertainment Channels FOX NETWORKS GROUP MIDDLE EAST says: "We’re very open to producing Arabic local content for our entertainment channels. Fox has been producing great entertainment shows in local languages all around the world. Reaching the next level necessarily means delivering Arabic channels with locally produced content at some point. But it’s a matter of finding the right opportunity."

The Entertainment Content Summit this year will cover various topics that will include: Animation in the Arab Countries: Where are we at now?, Second Screen The Future TV Experience, Formats: A Focus on Original Content and Local Talent, Audiovisual Media in 2030 “A Journey into the Future” and Current Trends in Ramadan Drama Production in the MENA Region.

Held in conjunction with MYCONTENT, The Dubai International Brand Licensing Fair (Licensing Dubai) is the Middle East’s only brand licensing marketplace featuring a vast collection of properties and brands. Some of the exhibiting companies for Dubai International Brand Licensing Fair this year are Arabian Licensing Company, Mondo TV, and M4e.

The Big Entertainment Show (BES) is scheduled to run until 15th of November, 2016 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
