Shiraz - Industry minister's adviser announced that over half of the contracts signed with the European countries in industrial and trade fields have taken effect.

"We have concluded contracts worth $4.2 billion in the fields of industry and trade with the European countries in the atmosphere created after signing of the joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and over half of them have been materialized," Behrouz Riyahi said. 

He reiterated that the latest contract was signed between Iran's Saipa carmaker and France's Citroen automaker. 

French automaker Citroen revealed that it will launch new vehicles to return to the Iranian market.

The announcement was made in a meeting between a business delegation from Citroen and Managing Director of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran Mansour Moazami in Tehran.
