AMI once again has gathered great speakers for the event

AMI, Bristol, 10th August 2015 - The programme has been announced for the AMI's 7th Flexible Packaging Middle East conference, which will take place from 7-9 December 2015 at the Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai, UAE. The event has become well established as the regular international forum for the Flexible Packaging industry attracting over 100 attendees every year.

Flexible packaging is a dynamic and constantly evolving market, increasingly recognised for its critical role in protecting and preserving a wide range of applications spanning food, beverage and non-food markets worldwide.  In the Middle East, converters are increasingly making use of the films produced as part of the downstream petrochemical diversification in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.  Meanwhile, rising environmental consciousness is increasing the requirement for sustainable solutions and the exploration of end of life options.

To meet retailer and consumer needs, packs are becoming more sophisticated and tailored to local market requirements, offering potential to add value at every stage of the supply chain. At the conference, a new session on manufacturing in practice will examine this in more detail, including consideration of Halal practices and an update on the latest food contact regulations.

Flexible Packaging Middle East 2015 will also include a business forum with topics such as maximising brand value and business performance translating creative ideas into executable consumer packaging with presentations from brand owners Almarai and Johnson & Johnson. Converters Flexible Industrial Packages Company will also discuss the paradigm shift in the Middle Eastern packaging industry and the event will close with a detailed analysis of the current Middle East flexible packaging market with a presentation by AMI's Research Director, Andrew Reynolds.

Other presentations will look at the latest trends in materials to give fresh insight into how to add value to products.  The conference will also include the latest technology developments.

In addition to delivering quality papers, Flexible Packaging Middle East 2015 also offers superb and cost-effective networking opportunities with its extensive table top exhibition area.

The event is sponsored by Dow, Borouge and by Exxonmobil.
