The performance metrics measured for the award in the 2013 WAPC competition includes evaluations on parts sales, service sales, service retention, parts inventory management, Nissan Competitive Advantage Map (N-CAM) and customer service. The outcome of results in customer retention, parts sales and inventory management are of top global standards for Nissan.
Samir Cherfan, Managing Director, Nissan Middle East said: "Aftersales and service support are a key pillar of Nissan's mid-term plans in the Middle East and they remain a key differentiator in our competitive advantage. At Nissan, we understand that the sales of a new car is just the beginning of a relationship as from there on the level and quality of support the owner receives is through aftersales and can either lead to building or breaking a brand's reputation.
"To Nissan, this is a relationship we aspire among our customers through excellence in aftersales service and we congratulate Arabian Automobiles for winning 'World Aftersales Progress Club' Global Award yet another year. This is truly a remarkable achievement that indicates the best practices maintained by the company consistently over the years."
MK Rajkumar, Director of Aftersales and Trading, commented on the award stating: "Keeping in mind that the WAPC Award is one of the most prestigious accomplishments to a Nissan distributor by Nissan Motor Company, we constantly challenge ourselves to not only sustain the top status but aim to further improve with the core being to service customers with a highly qualified team across all our workshops. We are delighted and appreciate the recognition by Nissan Motor Company. We are sincerely honored to be awarded as the first NSC in the world to win this prestigious award six consecutive times, and will strive to ensure an unprecedented seventh in a row in 2014."
