Marmum Dairy Farm retail sales surge 10%

Redesigned packaging gives products a fresh and new look.

MARMUM Dairy Farm, a subsidiary of Dubai Investments (DI) and a leading dairy brand in the UAE, has achieved a 10 percent growth in retail sales during 2012-13 as compared to 2011-12, thus reinforcing its market leadership in the regional dairy and juice segments.

The company also announced that it is targeting 15 percent growth in the dairy segment and 20-25 percent increase in the juice category this year, backed by plans to introduce premium, tasty and healthy products in both segments.

Waeel Barhaji, Deputy General Manager at Marmum Dairy Farm, said: "Our strong retail sales growth is a result of our world-class portfolio which includes top quality, fresh and healthy dairy products and juices. We are adaptable to market dynamics and keen on developing our facilities and products to emphasize on our high quality, safety and health standards. We have set our growth targets this year, which stems from our plans to unveil a range of refreshing and healthy dairy products and juices, in line with the market demands."

"As part of our strategy to develop the brand, we have redesigned the packaging of all our products to give it a fresh and new look. These include the Laban Cool, which comes in a newly designed bottle to distinguish different flavors; and our other new products include the flavored mango milk, and fruit yogurt in strawberry, blueberry, apricot, peach, mango and red cherry flavors," Barhaji added.

Reinforcing its delicious and healthy juice options, Marmum plans to soon re-launch in an all-new premium packaging its mixed berry, strawberry, fruit cocktail, orange carrot and apple juices variants, which come with eight new vitamins - such as Vitamin B1, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9, B12and C while orange, mango, kiwi & lime, guava and lemon & mint come with vitamin A, E, C and D.

Over the last few months, Marmum has launched products which offer healthy options and are not primarily commercially-driven. All these products are rich in vitamins A, D, E and K2, mainly focused on improving, developing and maintaining a balanced diet and healthy living.
