An online application run by the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Interior, which is used by residents to pay driving fines, renew licenses and other similar services, is the most used application in the country, according to the results of a survey published on Sunday by the Alroeya Arabic daily newspaper.

The ministry’s applications scored 37.4 percent in the survey, followed by parking and transportation apps with 16.9 percent, while apps used to pay electricity and water bills scored 13.8 percent.

The newspaper did not include details on the sampling size or when the survey took place.
