Santa Cruz - Iran and Bolivia have inked a memorandum of understanding to promote their cooperation in space sphere.

The cooperation document was signed in the presence of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Bolivian counterpart David Choquehuanca on the sidelines of the Iran-Bolivia economic forum Friday local time.

Two hundred Iranian and Bolivian businessmen and entrepreneurs attended the Iran-Bolivia forum.

Before the forum, Zarif met with Bolivian President Evo Morales.

Zarif, heading a 120-member delegation is on a six-nation tour of Latin America in a bid to broaden economic cooperation between Iran and the states in the region.

The Iranian foreign minister was in Cuba on Monday and travelled to Nicaragua on Tuesday.

Following Ecuador, Zarif visited Chile and now is in Bolivia. Venezuela is the last leg of Zarif tour of Latin America.
