BERLIN, 20th March, 2017 (WAM) -- Representatives of the Expo 2020 Dubai are continuing on a tour of a number of European countries to discuss how to enable organisations within these states to seize opportunities afforded by the world expo.

The delegation began the tour in Germany where a meeting was held at the UAE embassy headquarters in Berlin with Ali Abdullah Al-Ahmad, UAE Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany and other officials and investors in attendance.

The meeting shed light on how German companies of all sizes and business activities can take advantage of the diverse opportunities offered by Expo 2020 Dubai. Mr. Al-Ahmad highlighted the volume of bilateral trade between the UAE and the Republic of Germany, which exceeded US$17 billion, representing 30 percent of trade between Germany and the Arab region.

Al-Ahmad stressed that Germany's presence at Expo 2020 promotes and contributes to the success of this event and reflects the strong cooperative relations between the two countries.
