Egypt is planning to complete the establishment of one million social housing units within the next three years, Minister of Housing Mustafa Madbouly said Thursday.
Madbouly stated that his ministry has implemented 550,000 social housing units during the last two years and half.
The Egyptian minister made his remarks at the second Egypt Projects Summit took place in tandem with Metal and Steel Middle East Exhibition.
Egypt's small-sized construction firms have participated in establishing these units, Madbouly referred, adding that those unites contributed to the creation of around 1.5 million job opportunities.
