Egypt's ACROW Misr, one of the leading manufacturers, designers and suppliers of metal formwork and scaffolding in the Middle East and North Africa, is exploring further international expansion following its success at Bauma 2016. Held last month in Munich, the trade event is the largest construction machinery fair in the world, attracting more than half a million visitors and 3,423 exhibitors in its 31st edition.

ACROW Misr was the only Egyptian exhibitor at this year's fair and garnered widespread trade interest because of its extensive experience on major infrastructure projects across MENA. The company now operates branches in Algeria, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates.

In the UAE, ACROW Misr has worked on several recent projects including, Ras al khor Crossing, the upgrade of junctions at Dubai Airport road, the access to Dubai Parks from Sheikh Zayed Road, the access to the Bluewaters Island project, elevating Sheikh Zayed Road for the Dubai Water Canal infrastructure, Abu Dhabi-Dubai Road E311, the road network and interchange for Abi Dhabi Airport, the improvement of the Mafraq to Al Ghwaifat Border Post Highway, and the directional ramp from Al Khail highway.  The company was also responsible for the construction of both Danat Al Emarat Hospital and Dar Al Shifaa Hospital in Abu Dhabi.

In Qatar, ACROW Misr has participated in a diverse range of infrastructure and commercial projects including Lusail City, the North Road enhancements, the new Orbital Highway, Al Wakrah Bypass, Al Bayt Stadium, the Precinct in Al Khor, Al Bustan Complex at Ramada Area and Al Thuraya Tower in West Bay.

Major projects in Saudi Arabia have included the Makkah-Medina High Speed Railway Project, Abdul-Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, King Khalid Airport in Riyadh, King Saud University in Riyadh, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals in Dhahran.

The company provides extensive after-sales services including the required onsite training and qualification of workers for the erection and the installation of various formwork and scaffolding solutions.
