Dubai Islamic Economy Development Centre (DIEDC) in partnership with Thomson Reuters and Dubai Chamber have launched a report presenting key findings from the Global Islamic Economy Summit (GIES) 2013. GIES 2013 Review details the discussions from the 25 sessions held at the Summit and defines key recommendations from the six pillars Islamic Finance, Halal Food, Halal Travel, Halal Lifestyle, SME Development and Islamic Economy Infrastructure. These six pillars were discussed by cabinet ministers, global industry leaders and heads of multilateral organizations over the two-day event with the objective of providing actionable recommendations to support the growth of the global Islamic Economy within a synergistic framework.
