Along with the issuance of instant debit cards, customers will also be given One Time Activation Code (OTAC).

Maisarah has implemented the instant debit card issue service in line with its objective of enhancing customer experience. Instant issue of a debit card allows customers to receive their debit card immediately at a branch, instead of having to wait weeks to receive it. Besides, customers can now enjoy the benefits of debit card on the same day of opening an account.

Mujtabah Ali Dawood, Executive Manager (Retail) at Maisarah Islamic Banking Services said, “Maisarah is one of the first Islamic banks in Oman to offer instant debit card for customers. The facility is available in our all branches in Oman. In addition, our customer can register for it from any branch. It is not necessary for them to apply for it in the branch they have an account. We are also pleased to announce that we are offering instant debit card for our priority customers which offers many benefits like complimentary airport lounge access across many airports in the world and special discounts at retail outlets.”

He added, “We are committed to integrating newest technologies into our products and services in order to augment our customer experience.”
