Chinas Crude Imports Fall To 21.7Mn Tons In June

Chinas crude oil imports declined by 14.8% in June to 21.72mn tons or 5.28mn b/d from the monthly record of 25.48mn tons set in May, according to data released by the countrys General Administration of Customs. High imports during May reportedly boosted the countrys inventories because refinery demand slipped. China has imported 140.06mn tons during 2012, an average of 5.62mn b/d so far this year.
