AMMAN (Dow Jones)--Iraq resumed Monday the flow of Kirkuk crude oil via its northern pipeline to Turkey's Ceyhan port after a weeklong closure caused by an attack on the export line, a Middle East shipping agent at the Turkish port said Monday.

They have resumed the pumping since around 0400 local time today," the agent told Dow Jones Newswires by telephone from Ceyhan. He said that the crude hasn't reached the port so it is not yet known how many barrels an hour are being pumped through.

Iraq usually pumps around 18,000 to 20,000 barrels an hour from that pipeline.
