Economist Intelligence Unit - Oct 2009

EIU expects Iran’s real GDP to pick up steadily to 2.9% in 2010/11, and further to 3.5% in 2011/12 as Iran increasingly reliant on fuel imports. Inflation is forecasted to fall quite sharply to an average of 14% in 2010 and 12.5% in 2011 as international non-oil commodity prices remaining relatively low over the forecast period.
