JPMorgan is a financial services company that offers investment banking services including mergers and acquisitions, advisory, equity and debt capital markets as well as sales, trading, and research. It also offers private banking and asset management services.

JPMorgan’s history dates back to the 1950s when The Chase Manhattan Bank, a forerunner of today's JPMorgan, opened an office in Beirut, Lebanon. It reached Cairo, Egypt in 1976 and later expanded its regional presence by establishing a subsidiary in Bahrain in 1971. In 2006, it established a subsidiary in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the regional headquarters in Dubai, UAE.
