The UAE-based Zakum Development Company (ZADCO)Zakum Development Company (ZADCO)Loading... produces and exports crude oil.

ZADCO’s three production facilities in Abu Dhabi, Upper Zakum, Al Dalkh Field and Satah Field have a total production capacity of 550,000 barrels of crude oil per day, as of 2011. The company’s two warehouses in Zikru Island and Arzanah Island export oil.

The company is developing an offshore field in Upper Zakum, Abu Dhabi, which would consist of offshore pipelines and production facilities, when completed in 2015. The field would increase production capacity by 200,000 barrels of crude oil per day, to 750,000. The estimated cost of the project is AED55 billion (USD15 billion).
