 Business Overview
Economic Zones World (EZW) is a Dubai-based real estate development and management company of free and economic zones, industrial and logistics parks. EZW is fully owned by Dubai World, the UAE government’s investment arm.

In the UAE, EZW operates TechnoParkTechnoParkLoading..., Dubai Auto Zone and the 48 million sq. m (516.6 million sq. ft.) Jebel Ali Free ZoneJebel Ali Free ZoneLoading... (JAFZAJAFZALoading...), as of 2009. It established TechnoParkTechnoParkLoading... in 2003, as its research and development arm to host all companies related to: energy, desalination and water resources management, environmental resource management and technology-driven, knowledge-based industrial development. EZW purchased Gazeley, a UK-based logistics and industrial parks developer, in June 2008, to expand its operations into the Russian and Indian markets.

The company is developing 10 projects in 10 countries as of 2009, across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the United States. In October 2008, it began developing the Business Centers World, in JAFZAJAFZALoading..., to provide office space and services. Through its US-based subsidiary, Jafza Americas, EZW began developing the US-based Orangeburg Industrial and Logistics Park, in January 2009. The 5.35 million sq. m (57.5 million sq. ft.) park will provide logistics, distribution, assembly and light manufacturing services to the southeastern region of the United States.
