Etihad Airways provides scheduled air transportation for passengers and cargo directly. Through its subsidiaries and divisions, the airline also provides aircraft repair and maintenance, cargo handling, car rental services, software distribution, real estate property investment and tour operations.
Etihad carried 7.1 million passengers, in 2010, an annual increase of 13.11% and it also handled 263,000 tons of cargo, an annual increase of 105%.
It owned 57 aircrafts and flew to 66 destinations, in 2010. It plans to expand its fleet to 103 aircrafts including 58 AirbusAirbus and 45 Boeings, by 2030. As part of its growth, Etihad also plans to fly 25 million passengers a year and increase its destination cities to 100, by 2020.
