Zain Bahrain provides mobile telecommunication and Internet services in Bahrain. The company was branded as MTC Vodafone Bahrain until August 2007, when its parent company, the Kuwait-based Mobile Telecommunication Company rolled out the Zain global brand.

Established in December 2003 as Bahrain's second GSM mobile operator, Zain Bahrain broke Batelco's monopoly. The company was the second of MTC’s subsidiaries to be established outside of Kuwait.

By the end of 2008, the company had increased its annual market share to 47% and subscribers by 53% to 686,000. Zain Bahrain increased total revenues by 49% to BHD86 million (USD230 million), and profits by 93% to BHD21 million (USD56 million), in 2008.
