Business Overview

The Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) is a free trade zone specialized in medical treatment, medical education and research, hospitals, rehabilitation and other healthcare services.

DHCC is made up of health hubs with 340 registered companies specialized in medical equipment, insurance, pharmaceuticals, healthcare consultancies and alternative medicine.

The 2.15 million sq. m (23.1 million sq. ft.) free zone consists of two correlated communities, the Medical Community and the Wellness Community. The Medical Community occupies an area of 380,900 sq. m (4.1 million sq. ft.) and concentrates on clinical services for disease treatment and prevention, while the 1.7 million sq. m (19 million sq. ft.) Wellness Community consists of hospitals, outpatient clinics, luxury spa resorts, residential units and a hotel.
