The vertically integrated Abu Dhabi Media Company specializes in radio and television broadcasting, publishing and printing, digital media and distribution. Known until 2007 as Emirates Media Incorporated, the government-owned company is headquartered in Abu Dhabi with offices in Cairo, Dubai and Washington D.C.

The Abu Dhabi Media Company owns and operates three television channels: Abu Dhabi Television, Abu Dhabi Sports and Emirates Television. It also owns four radio stations that broadcast throughout the UAE on FM frequencies. In the publishing sector, the company owns Al Ittihad newspaper, which reports primarily on Abu Dhabi news, and The National, an English newspaper launched in 2008. Its portfolio of weekly magazines include the lifestyle women's magazine, Zahrat Al Khaleej, a children's magazine, Majid and a sports magazine for football and sports enthusiasts, Super.

In the printing sector, the Abu Dhabi Media Company owns the United Printing and PublishingUnited Printing and PublishingLoading..., established in 2006, which prints books, magazines, catalogs and commercial publications.
