Stop-Smoking Machine uses safe and effective laser technology to help smokers beat addiction
Smokers who want to kick the habit can now visit the anti-smoking facility at the Wafi Mall that has been set up as a joint community service by Dubai Rotary Club in partnership with the Government of Dubai’s Department of Health, Manchester Clinic and Wafi Mall.
The free treatment utilises completely safe and highly effective breakthrough laser technology through a digital Stop-Smoking Machine that will enable smokers to beat their addiction. They can register for the treatment by phone, fax, online or via forms available from the Government Health Clinic in Al Mamzar, Manchester Clinic on Jumeirah Beach Road or at the Wafi Mall.
The Stop Smoking Machine is a revolutionary device that has no side effects and, unlike acupuncture, involves no pain at all. The treatment involves the application of laser pulses at nerve points on the body and takes no more than 15 minutes. Surveys have shown that 42 per cent of treated people stop smoking after just one session. More than 70 per cent stopped smoking after four or five sessions.
The Anti Smoking Campaign is the first in a series of humanitarian projects planned by Dubai Rotary Club which has HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President Dubai Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates, as its patron. The Stop Smoking Machines have been donated by Abdullah Hussain, a Kuwaiti businessman, thus enabling the offer of free treatment for up to six months.
