External features are highlighted with a similar nose first seen on the Evo X along with a pronounced grille outlined in chrome and swept-back headlights. The ASX car cuts a thin line between aesthetics and true off-road performance at the same time manages to look smart and neat while preserving a rugged disposition.
Mitsubishi ASX promises good fuel economy for both manual box with a choice of front-drive and Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) box on automatic transmission. Powered by a 2-litre 6-speed engine that accelerates at 150bhp, this sporty car offers maximum torque of up to 4200 rpm and a max sprint of over 190km/hr at 11.5 seconds. There is a choice of 2WD and 4WD options.
The car scores well for space and all-round convenience too, in both the front and back. The driver's seat offers a good driving position and excellent view on the road. In the rear, space is plentiful with no trouble getting comfortable in longer journeys and an optional panoramic roof giving a light and airy feel. The crossover is fully equipped with button start engine, cruise control and drive mode selector.
The supple ride has an impressive control, offering a good balance between comfort and handling. The ride feels sorted and composed when going over bumps at both high and town speeds, providing passengers a comfortable and rather serene ride.
In today's safety conscious world of cars, the ASX comes fully equipped with the obligatory ABS, Active Stability Control, air bags, sensors and much more on specific models.
The ASX comes in Three specifications level as based M-line that comes with cruise control, factory stereo, privacy glass and keyless operation and so on while the better equipped H-line with additional 17 inch alloys, ASC, HID head lamps and the panoramic roof with LED ambient lighting among other kit.
