City Group Company adds 50 buses to accommodate need in local public transport market

Kuwait - September 1, 2010: City Group CompanyCity Group Company
(CGCCGC), Kuwait's leading listed public transport company, today announced that it has allocated 50 extra buses to help meet the current demands for public transport services in Kuwait. Richard Woods, CGCCGC chief executive officer said: "CGCCGC has had a long and successful involvement in the development and growth of the public transport sector in Kuwait. As one of the leading public transport providers, CGCCGC is committed to maintaining excellent delivery records. We aim to help increase transport efficiency in Kuwait, as well as decreasing traffic and travel time getting to and from destinations around Kuwait."

Latest figures from Citybus show that 95% of Citybus scheduled services operate within the published timetable. Now, with a 50 % share of the Kuwaiti market, CGCCGC is currently Kuwait's second largest public transport company, operating a fleet of 585 buses in Kuwait for scheduled and charter operations.
