Aetna Names Stuart Leatherby Head Of Middle East And Africa Business

Dubai, UAE, August 29, 2010 -- (Businesswire /Me NewsWire)Aetna (NYSE: ΑET), a leading global diversified health care benefits company, announced today that it has appointed Stuart Leatherby as managing director, Middle East and Africa, effective 1 September 2010. In this role, Leatherby will manage the company's expatriate business in the Middle East and Africa region, which operates under the Aetna Global Benefits (AGB) name. He will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Leatherby most recently served as head of AGB international market development where he was responsible for directing market expansion activities across new and existing segments and geographies. Since joining the organisation in 2000, he has successfully completed numerous assignments with diverse responsibility across areas including product development, underwriting and portfolio management, technical claims, workflow management, information technology and compliance.
