DWC signs up 20 firms since Maktoum Airport opening

(DWCDWC) has signed agreements with 20 new companies - local and foreign - since the opening of the Al Maktoum International AirportAl Maktoum International Airport over the last two months, a senior official said on Monday.DWCDWC and its units are witnessing an increased interest from local and foreign companies to establish operations following the opening of the Al Maktoum International AirportAl Maktoum International Airport in June this year.

Calogi, a leading air-freight portal solution, was latest entrant on Monday to announce the launch of operations in Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum InternationalDubai World Central - Al Maktoum International
Airport (DWCDWC).Calogi has now presence at all the eight FreightGates located in Jafza, Dafza, Dubai International Airport and the new DWCDWC airport.
Buqara'a said $8.1-billion Al Maktoum Airport is slated to start receiving passengers in March/April next year.
