Kia launches Cerato Juliet for ladies

MUSCAT -- How often you wish of a car specially designed for ladies, which you would desire to call your very own? The wait is finally over. For the first time in Oman, Kia presents a car especially for ladies. Loaded with special features and accessories that suits all your needs of style, safety and convenience. Discussing the launch, a senior spokesperson mentioned, "This is the latest beauty from Kia, in line with its 'exciting and enabling' manufacturing philosophy.

The Cerato Juliet is 'loaded with special features and accessories that gracefully fulfill style, safety and convenience needs.' Indeed, the Cerato Juliet features front parking sensors to facilitate parking in tight spaces, a seat height adjuster, for a commanding driving position; a rear viewing camera for reversing, particularly at night and rear parking sensors to aid parking in confined spaces.

Apart from these thoughtful touches, the Cerato Juliet is packed with a host of conveniences geared wholly and solely towards ladies. For example, a purse hook ensures ease of locating the purse, a personalised flowery steering cover creates a feeling of gentle femininity, a convenience dangler allows quick placement of objects, driving gloves shield the hands from the heat and sun, a mobile cell organiser helps view incoming calls easily even while driving, a tissue box holder is positioned within easy reach, an audio CD visor safely stores music CDs/VCDs/DVDs and an exclusive perfume coffret with Arabic and French fragrances to liven up the cabin ambience.

The vehicle is also equipped with a smart key start push button, power sunroof, auto cruise control, an audio system with remote featuring a radio and 2 DIN CD/MP3 with 4 speakers (including Tweeters). There is an USB/i-Pod connector, as well. The Cerato Juliet also boasts of a sophisticated design, with fluid lines and proportions and it is the ideal sized sedan for women. It is available in two variants i.e. the 1.6 cylinder version with dual CVVT engine producing 123 hp@ 6300 rpm and 15.9 kg-m torque and the 2.0 L 4 speed A/T variant, also with a dual CVVT engine churning out 154 hp and 19.8 kg-m of torque.

The models feature top of the line safety with driver and passenger airbags, active headrests, auto light control and antilock brake system (ABS). The stylish looks are enhanced by 17' alloy wheels, leather pack (leather steering, transmission gear shift knob, metal paint parking brake, door garnish, console upper cover) and alloy pedals.
