BAS to provide ground handling support for BIAS

) said yesterday it will provide ground handling support for the second edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) to be held from January 19 to 21, 2012 at the purpose built state-of-the-art aerospace exhibition facility in Sakhir airbase.BASBAS

Abdulrahman Al Gaoud, Deputy Chairman and Undersecretary for Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs and Phil Bowell, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Airport ServicesBahrain Airport Services

Bahrain and its neighbouring countries in the Gulf and Middle East regions were among the world's most important growth markets of the commercial and corporate aviation domains,Captain Abdulrahman Al Gaoud and Phil Bowell said in a joint statement yesterday.
They said the 2012 event would once again feature different segments of the aviation industry, distinguishing it from other events.
