Rezidor announces Georges Van Gool Director of Sales - Corporate
- one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide - announces the appointment of Georges Van Gool as Director of Sales - Corporate based in the Global Sales Office in Dubai.Van Gool, who is Belgian and Austrian, has over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry having held a number of Sales & Marketing positions with Rezidor, IHG and Starwood.
Having first joined Rezidor in 2002 as Sales Representative for the Radisson SAS Palais, Vienna and then leaving for another position, Van Gool rejoined the hotel in 2005 as Sales Manager - Corporate & Key Accounts before moving to the Holiday Inn Vienna South as Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing - his most recent position.
Yigit Sezgin, Global Director of Sales & Marketing said "It is great to have Georges join our sales team here at the Global Sales Office in Dubai. His strong experience in the field combined with his natural sales ability will be a real asset to our team as we continue to push for corporate business for our wide portfolio of hotels"
In his new role, Van Gool will be tasked with profiling regional and international corporate accounts in the Middle East region and developing corporate production together with Rezidor's Global Sales Representatives in Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Van Gool holds a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from the International Institute of Tourism & Hotel Management, Krems in Austria and speaks five languages.
