Jumeirah Etihad Towers appoints Director of Sales and Marketing

, the Dubai-based luxury hospitality company and a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed Cornelia Koebele as Director of Sales and Marketing for Jumeirah Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi one year ahead of the hotel's planned opening.Cornelia Koebele has a significant track record in the hospitality sector having worked for Rosewood, Le Méridien and Hyatt in the past, as well representing Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in her home country of Germany. She also worked as Director of Business Development and Marketing at Jumeirah Emirates TowersJumeirah Emirates Towers
for four years under the leadership of Doris Greif, who is now General Manager of Jumeirah Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi.
The developers of Jumeirah Etihad Towers report that the property is on track to open in July 2011.

Jumeirah Etihad Towers was developed under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan's Project Department and is located on the shores of the Arabian Gulf in the exclusive Khalidiya area, along Abu Dhabi's Corniche.

The dramatic sculptural forms of the towers compliment the sleek and contemporary interior design, with a cultural edge. Art works from His Highness' private collection provide a local Arabian touch in public areas, conference pre-function areas and around the Royal Etihad Suite, located on Level 60.
