SMG renews its partnership with ExxonMobil Egypt

(SMG), the sole agent of Porsche cars in Egypt and the authorized dealer of SEAT cars (New Ibiza - New Leon - New Altea XL) , has renewed its partnership with ExxonMobil EgyptExxonMobil Egypt, the leading oil manufacturer. Ibrahim Ghattas, Managing Director; Branco Bagaric, Sales & Marketing Manager; and Mohamed Radwan, Service Manager-SMG attended the contract signature together with Adel Hussein, Automotive Sales Manager; Akram Hussein, Car Dealers Lead Manager; and Mohamed El Hadary, Car Dealer Manager-ExxonMobil EgyptExxonMobil Egypt. "Cooperation between SMG and ExxonMobil EgyptExxonMobil Egypt started more than 20 years ago and has positively affected the after-sales service for SMG cars, especially SEAT. The partnership has helped us realize the strategy which plays a vital role towards efforts exerted by the state to raise growth rates through effective participation in the auto industry," stated Ibrahim Ghattas, Managing Director-SMG.
"Our successful partnership with ExxonMobil EgyptExxonMobil Egypt reflects SMG's commitment to providing a high quality service at affordable prices to clients. We partnered with ExxonMobil EgyptExxonMobil Egypt on the recommendations of Porsche Group which always recommends using Mobil 1 oil in its cars due to its ability to maintain engine safety and provide a longer lifespan," Ghattas added.

The partnership between SMG and ExxonMobil dates back to the last century, this renewal confirms our continuous commitment to providing the best oils to our clients through major manufacturers, importers and suppliers of international oils in the Egyptian market."Through cooperation with ExxonMobil EgyptExxonMobil Egypt, SMG focuses on offering the optimum after-sales service to cars via maintenance centers covering different areas and governorates such as Cairo, Alexandria and Mansoura. SMG also plans to expand its network of services to cover even more governorates and new areas extending all the way to the Red Sea.
SMG showrooms include passenger cars and motorcycles. The company has eight showrooms for passenger cars SEAT and SsangYong. SMG is the sole authorized dealer of the sports car Porsche which appears in its special showrooms. SMG also has a unique network of authorized dealers nationwide.
SMG is the sole authorized dealer of legendary motorcycles Harley-Davidson. It is the only place that provides accessories for these motorcycles through Harley-Davidson Egypt centers in addition to another two branches. As for the industrial automotive sector, SMG is the sole agent and authorized dealer of Scania trucks via Scania Egypt owned by SMG.
SMG owns 48 service centers that provide maintenance to SEAT and SsangYong car owners in addition to three authorized SEAT service centers. SMG also has exclusive service centers for Porsche cars, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and Scania trucks and buses, in Egypt.
Regarding the new models, Ghattas said, "We plan to launch the 'Porsche Cayenne' which embodies a new concept of sports cars this June under the new slogan 'Porsche Smart Performance'. This model provides the latest developments, innovative ideas and state-of-the-art technologies in the auto world. The car delivers an unparalleled performance with fuel efficiency and is eco-friendly thanks to its low carbon dioxide emissions. SMG plans to open several showrooms and service centers in Sharm El-Sheikh and Giza.
