Qtel Delivers Great Roaming Rates on All Networks in UAE and Saudi Arabia, and Across the GCC

's ongoing investment in world-class roaming services received another big boost today, when the company signed new agreements with Zain Saudi ArabiaZain Saudi Arabia and dudu of the United Arab Emirates.Through the new agreements, all QtelQtel
Shahry customers can now benefit from the best roaming rates while connected to any network in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and on networks across the GCC, through the Qtel SmartRoamer service. As a result, customers now have even wider access to some of the best roaming rates in the region, with local calls costing just QR1 per minute and SMS costing QR1 each.
Calling home to Qatar from anywhere within the GCC costs just QR2 per minute and the same rate applies for customers calling any other GCC country from within the GCC.
The service is available to all Shahry customers in Bahrain (on Batelco), Kuwait (Wataniya), Oman (Nawras), Saudi Arabia (Mobily, STC, Zain), and the UAE (dudu and Etisalat).
QtelQtel continues to invest in new partnerships to broaden the range of SmartRoamer across the region and across its global footprint.
The SmartRoamer service has been designed to keep the cost of calling for travellers down, through an all-new, standardized approach to roaming. The service is available automatically in the countries and on the networks mentioned above when a customer arrives abroad, without the need to activate or subscribe to the service.
