Umniah launches new electronic portal for wireless and ADSL Internet users

launched this week a new electronic portal that caters to ADSL and Umax Internet users at www.umniah.com. Through this portal, Umniah Umax subscribers can now use prepaid scratch cards that are dedicated to this service in order to recharge their download capacity, a service which was previously only provided to UDSL subscribers. Umniah UDSL and Umax subscribers will also receive a number of new benefits including the ability to view information related to their download cap usage and subscription as well as speed, their monthly download capacity, and the start and ending dates of their subscriptions. In addition to these informative features, the new electronic portal will also allow subscribers to register their complaints and suggestions with regards to Internet services. The portal will further allow subscribers to reset their passwords at anytime by logging on to the portal. Omar Omoush, the marketing director of UmniahUmniah
, said: "This portal offers all our Umax and UDSL subscribers a group of unique services, confirming our continuous commitment to the development of the Jordanian telecom sector." He added: "All our Umax and UDSL subscribers will be able to receive information on the status of their accounts without having to make calls to our service centres."
