German firm to build 10,000 housing units west of Diwaniya

The investment commission in Diwaniya has discussed with a German firm a project to build 10,000 housing units west of the province, the commission's head said on Sunday.
"The final contracts will be signed with the company's representative in the coming few days," Khazaie noted.
Khazaie did not reveal the cost of the project or the estimated completion period.
Diwaniya, the capital city of the province, lies 180 km south of Baghdad.
