MUSCAT: Catering to the growing need of Omani brands get a strong foothold in the global market Oman-based Advertising International Company (ADINC) yesterday tied up with International Network (IN) agency.
In today's competitive advertising market it is important for local brands to maintain their regional base and expand globally. "By being part of the IN network we will not only able to serve our esteemed clientele here in Oman better, but will also be able to provide our assistance and expertise for their advertising and integrated marketing communication needs the world over," said Bikram Sehgal, GM, ADINC, while addressing the media.
"Omani products are exported to more than 100 countries. The network can be of immense help for these activities."
IN, which is a global network of integrated marketing communications agencies, are independently owned and led by entrepreneurs. IN offers services like brand building, direct response, online to mobile marketing, out-of-home to in-store, media buying, strategic consulting, translation, programming and production.
The financial downturn has impacted the advertising sector globally and companies had to reinvent business models to maintain their bottom line. "In the current business environment market share will be an important factor for companies as market growth won't be strong. Last one year has shown in Oman what competition is all about," adds Sehgal.
"Innovative idea will be the need of the day." Through the tie up ADINC is planning to provide platform for regional brand presence, brand identity and strategies for the international market.
Commenting on the global reach for the local clients, Prem Maker, Chairman, ADINC said, "This initiative will give regional brands the type of inputs that are available to international brands."
IN agencies handle more than 1,600 brands globally including giants like Coca Cola, Pepsi, P&G, Kodak, Nokia, Johnson & Johnson, Adidas and American Express.
