ASP64 & AVELIA NETWORKS have teamed up to combine their skills in order to conquer the SME, large account and multi-site companies in the Middle East market.
From 27 January 2010, ASP64 will be offering a range of managed services in partnership with AVELIA NETWORKS that will enable users to realize economies of scale of at least 30% on their traditional data back-up and archiving services as a whole, through externalization software offers created by ASP64 and hosted by AVELIA NETWORKS.

The return on investment made by this economy of scale reduces the acquisition cost of secure managed externalized solutions including back-up, storage and certified archiving in compliance with legal standards, firewalls and antivirus software.  As part of a CLOUD COMPUTING offer, hosting centre collocation and highly skilled technical personnel complement the reduction in solution acquisition costs and draw on tried and tested infrastructure equipment and software.  Companies, whose computer resources are rationalized, benefit from this system, the user-friendliness and safety of which are a guarantee of efficiency and compatibility with new tax and penal regulations.

Clément Alaguillaume, Managing Director of ASP64 commented: "Our partnership with AVELIA NETWORKS has given us the opportunity to demonstrate our will to provide a turnkey solution with acquisition cost reduction and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) optimization of the solutions that are offered by ASP64 in the aim of increasing our presence in the SME and the large account market.  Offers of managed security services developed by ASP64 are in line with developments in the market of SAAS (software as a service) mode solutions and CLOUD COMPUTING.  Cost control provided by this operating mode and the simplicity of its use, equates information infrastructure management tools with the management of a commodity such as water, electricity or the telephone.  Our aim is to recruit two hundred clients during 2010 for an estimated target of about 1 million €uros and to pursue this growth by doubling the number of clients in value and volume over the following years".

The agreement signed with AVELIA NETWORKS will enable ASP64 to industrialize technological production for its flagship solutions NANOPACK, MICROPACK, DATAPACK, NASPACK and CERTIPACK by bringing new added value with its future-proof storage offer (local or externalized in AVELIA NETWORKS' hosting centers).  Also the partnership agreement will enable ASP64 to integrate AVELIA NETWORKS' partner network and position itself as a strategic partner; ASP64 will then be able to offer companies completely certified and guaranteed data lifecycle management solutions with a rapid return on investment and a reduction in TCO.

Stavros Vougas, Managing Director of AVELIA NETWORKS added: "We are developing our partner network by providing innovative added-value solutions through reduction in our clients' infrastructure operating costs in order to allow them to invest in the externalized security managed services that are sought by end-users.  The constant commitment of our sales and technical teams towards our partners is based on AVELIA NETWORKS' desire to help them increase their hardware, software and services market share.  Today, alliances formed between AVELIA NETWORKS and partners such as ASP64, have allowed the company to become a leader in outsourcing management market with a unique selling and competitive proposition".
