Saudi Oil & Gas 2010 forum opens investment flood gate

RIYADH - Saudi Oil & Gas 2010, a business-to-business networking trade exhibition, concluded on Wednesday a highly successful four-day run at the Riyadh International Exhibition Centre, facilitating millions of riyals worth of new projects and business deals in the Kingdom.

The exhibition showed that the event's impressive numbers - in which over 4,500 businessmen visited, participated and trade agreements sealed - reflect the enthusiasm and confidence of leading industry players to explore fresh business and investment opportunities as Saudi Arabia remains the most attractive growth destination in the oil and gas sector.

The high-level attendance from both exhibitors and visitors from all over the world manifests the continuing confidence of business organizations and investors in the long-term potential of Saudi Arabia as a key market and a prime investment destination. We also witnessed a remarkably strong participation from Saudi companies, which is a very good indication of the excellent condition of the local business environment."

The event organized by Riyadh Exhibition Center (REC)Riyadh Exhibition Center (REC)Loading... has served as a platform for the industry players to enter into new projects and business deals worth some millions of riyal.

About 70 companies both national and international from China, Germany, United Kingdom, India, Malaysia, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE and Iran participated in the Saudi Oil and Gas 2010.
The 2nd Saudi Oil and Gas 2010 exhibition in Riyadh showcased latest innovations, technologies, machineries, equipment and services by some of the leading high-profile international and national companies dealing in oil and gas sector.

A number of workshops, seminars and other programs on a range of technical issues and related with exploration, production, refining, drilling, pipes and fittings were organized on sidelines of the show.
